Introduction

Booking Tickets

Advance booking is always recommended so that are staff can provide assistance where required. Complimentary tickets are offered to companions assisting customers with access needs.

Our main events listing guide is available in large print at reception and from www.thepublic.com.

Parking and Transport

Opposite The Public is a car park for the exclusive use of Blue Badge Holders.

Further car parks with designated bays for visitors with mobility concerns are located within two minutes of the building.

The Public is located ten minutes from Junction 1 of the M5 and approximately twenty minutes drive from Birmingham City Centre.

We are within five minutes of West Bromwich Bus and Metro Stations.

Access Around The Building

The building is accessible via street-level automatic doors - access to all other levels is via three large lifts or a gentle sweeping ramp weaving its way throughout the building.

The building has disabled access toilets on the ground floor and on the ramp of the gallery. Baby changing facilities are on the ground floor and a private room is available for breastfeeding with visible support throughout indicating that visitors are free to breastfeed throughout the building.

Tours

With advance notice, we are happy to arrange a tour around the gallery or the building in order for you to familiarise yourself with our services and provisions. Should you wish to take your guide dog into any performances, please advise us at the time of booking and we will keep the seat adjacent free. We would be happy to look after your guide dog during a performance should you prefer.
