The Laughing Sole - James Dowdeswell

Taking place on the first Wednesday of the month, The Laughing Sole features some of the finest upcoming and established comics from across the UK.

Headlining September's show is James Dowdeswell, an imaginative storytelling comedian who combines deft stand-up with daft stories.

Dowdeswell was recently the featured stand-up on Russell Howard’s Good News. He has appeared in Ricky Gervais’ Extras, The World Stands Up, Edinburgh And Beyond on the Paramount Comedy Channel. This year he has starred in Chaos - a TV sketch show pilot, Rekindle – a short film, and is currently filming his own comedy show about wine called “James Dowdeswell – Black Belt In Wine".

Compere for the night will be everyone's favourite housewife, Barbara Nice.

Why not make a night of it and enjoy a pre-show meal in PinkTank Café Bar. From 6pm at each show we’ll be serving a delicious range of buffet style meals including chilli, cheese and potato pie and roast pork.

ROAST PORK CARVERY
with home made stuffing, apple sauce, vegetables and roast potatoes. 

BEEF CHILLI CON CARNE
with Rice, Nachos and Sour Cream

CHEESE & POTATO PIE 
with vegetables and an oregano + tomato sauce 

£7.50 in addition to ticket price. Food from 6pm. Last food order 7.45pm.
