French Pianist/Hammond organist Pat Giraud can look back on a full career of more than 40 years playing jazz. He started playing the accordion at the age of 9 and, after piano studies from the age of 15, moved on to the Poitiers Conservatoire.
His music has taken him from big bands to his Harlem Jazz Trio to the role of accompanist. In particular his association with singer Marc Ogeret took him on his first foreign tour – to the USSR in 1974.
Pat Giraud has also toured to Cuba, Canada, Lithuania, Romania and many African countries as well as playing top French festivals such as Bayonne, Marcillac and Nice.
