Inimitable Australian comic and ex heavy metal drummer, Steve Hughes heads to The Public this November.

Following an outstanding performance on the BBC’s number 1 stand-up comedy show, ‘Live At The Apollo’ last December, Steve Hughes embarked upon an incredibly successful debut UK tour earlier in 2012.  Due to the huge demand from his current, and new legions of fans, Steve will be returning to the UK with ‘Big Issues’ this Autumn. 

One of the most exciting and distinctive comedians on the UK circuit, Steve has been invited to perform at every major comedy festival in the world and throughout 2010 and 2011 he joined Reginald D Hunter as a special guest on his mammoth nationwide tour – taking in over 80 venues playing to tens of thousands of people.  Television appearances include storming sets on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One), Stand Up For The Week (CH4) & One Night Stand (Dave).

Expect intelligent, straight-talking social commentary from one of the most original and thought-provoking performers to grace the UK circuit.
