Topic: The way forward for theatre in the West Midlands

The event:

We would like to invite you to our next TNG meeting, which will give you the opportunity to:

• network with other group members;
• explore funding opportunities; and
• discuss opportunities for partnership working, amongst theatre groups/professionals within the West Midlands, to help move projects and/or funding applications forward.

How to book your free place:

If you have attended a previous TNG meeting, you simply have to confirm your attendance by emailing your name and organisation to helen_hotchkiss@sandwell.gov.uk together with any accessibility requirements.

For new TNG members:

The Public is set in the heart of one of the most deprived areas in the UK. It is an area with a history of amateur groups working in arts but with individuals held back by lack of confidence and aspirations, not seeing themselves as active artistic participants.

It is a fantastically versatile space that is a gallery, music venue, theatre, learning centre, meeting place, community centre, work space that is open for everyone. The core of our vision at The Public is to use the arts to raise aspirations and change lives – establishing The Public as “a creative place, inspiring art, changing lives” that will have a significant impact on regenerating West Bromwich.
