Selected show curated from Frank Cohen’s collection featuring work from artists whose practice is related to the theme of built environment and space. The exhibition includes work from Graham Little and Miranda Donovan.
Miranda’s work addresses the darker sides of civilisation and its decay with visually striking, three-dimensional, small scale representations of household scenes reminiscent of dejected squats and derelict buildings. Each scene is decorated with graffiti centred on a range of themes concerning waste, vice and disillusionment. Her pieces invite the viewer to look just below the softer surface into a contemporary world full of beauty and luxury mixed with squalor.
A colourful sculpture by Glaswegian Graham Little will also will reside within the loby.
