Heads
Head On, a fun and interactive piece of artwork that uses mobile phone technology, launches at The Public on Monday 14 February.
The animation themed experience, located in PinkTank Café Bar on the ground floor of the art centre, uses face recognition software to grab an image from an uploaded picture and plants it onto a moving background.
Upload your favourite image from your phone via bluetooth or email, and stand back as it evolves in to the artwork. Watch it fly around the LCD screens as it’s grabbed by different animated characters for all to see!
Commissioned by Tim Kindberg and Steve Chamberlain, the digital project is a permanent piece of interactive artwork for The Public.
All you need is a mobile phone!
