Go Public out now!

The January to March edition of Go Public is out now, and available to view online.

Packed full of the latest events, exhibitions and workshops taking place at the West Bromwich Arts Centre, the quarterly programme is set to have something for everyone.

In the latest edition we have an exclusive interview with magnum photographer Martin Parr, who exhibits ‘Black Country Stories’ at The Public until 23 January, and preview the latest upcoming exhibitions by exciting emerging artists, with ‘First Light Film’, ‘Touch Interactive 2011’ and ‘Screening 2011’.

Over the next few months we have an extensive entertainments programme with a host of big names in the world of comedy, including Imran Yusuf, Jo Enright, Gary Delaney and Paul Kerensa dishing out a laugh a minute, and top theatrical productions, Gandhi and Coconuts, a witty, playful and poignant play that asks if it is better to be sane or happy, and Goucher’s War, the story of a make-believe pig that causes mayhem when called up for King and country, take to the stage.

Irish folk act Lunasa, bring their instrumental Celtic classics on 10 February, and fans of Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver and Sigur Ros can expect to be dazzled by The Black Atlantic on 20 February.

And that’s not all! For families, check out our exciting programme of fun-filled workshops over February Half Term including our digital light drawing experiment, creating a huge collaborative piece of art.
