The core of our artistic vision at The Public is to use the arts to raise aspirations and change lives.

We are now embarking on a new four year business plan with future projects such as:
- supporting new and emerging talent through partnerships with Wolverhampton University and Sandwell College;
- bringing exciting artists to Sandwell;
- supporting a range of young people’s school work experience to six month graduate internships; and
- regular celebrations of cultural and community festivals in response to local demand.
We recognise that times are tough for most people and that there are many worthy causes for individuals to support. If you feel you are able to support our activities we are happy to talk with you about how to do this.
For instance, a £12 donation would allow one child to attend a Saturday Art Club session for a month, or a £5 donation would allow a pensioner to attend 5 tea dancing sessions.
You can help to support us by:
- taking part in events and activities;
- advertising – web banners, posters, billboards and GO Public. Click here to enquire.
- venue hire – private hires, conferences and events
- making a donation;
- sponsoring an exhibition or event;
- selecting Sandwell Arts Trust as your chosen charity and registering at http://satpublic.easysearch.org.uk to raise money every time you shop or search online. More information can be found here.

The Public is firmly establishing itself as a valuable community resource and is successfully delivering an eclectic programme of artistic activity from performance to visual art.
We are very grateful to Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, who part-fund Sandwell Arts Trust. However, there is still a need to generate extra funds in order to achieve our full potential of a creative place, with inspiring art, helping to change lives.
