Interactive Gallery
Permanent exhibts alongside our changing programme of exhibitions and touch screens.
Bringing the “outside in” was an original concept of The Public with the visitors exploring a “walk in the park” feel. The wooden walkway of the ramp – that weaves its way between the ground floor and the galleries - has park railings and benches throughout. Metal trees designed by Ben Kelly feature along the walk with multi-coloured and reflective branches, leaves of various materials and screens showing art made by local children during our workshops.
As visitors explore the building and walk along the ramp, they experience a number of pieces of interactive artwork.
Entrance to the gallery is free.
